The story
A native North Carolinian, Patti grew up in Lincolnton — a small town just over an hour south of Blowing Rock — and has cherished the beauty of the North Carolina mountains her entire life. After attending Limestone College, she settled in Gastonia to raise her family while building a thriving business career.
As a partner and owner of McCollum and Associates for over twenty years, Patti honed her expertise working with blue-chip and Fortune 500 companies, successfully negotiating high-stakes contracts across multiple industries.
Among her most notable achievements was developing a groundbreaking engineering program for the emerging cellular phone industry, overseeing land acquisition and the strategic positioning of cellular infrastructure across the region.
Now, Patti has come full circle — returning to the mountain communities she has always loved and bringing with her a wealth of business acumen and negotiating experience. With deep roots in the area and extensive knowledge of the Blowing Rock market, she is passionate about helping clients turn their investment goals and dreams of owning mountain property into reality.
